Ivocor has a similar feel to ivory and a very similar look and feel as Kluge’s “Tharan”. In our tests, pianist preferred Reyburn Ivocor over Kluge Tharan in the majority of cases.

• Ivocor is a Reyburn Pianoworks product, made in the USA.

• The hardness and polish is satin, both look and feel that pianists prefer.

• This material is similar in look and feel as Tharan, as installed on on Fazioli, Bösendorfer and other famous European makes.

• All Ivocor pieces are artist tape covered for protection of the uniquely satin polished finish on the top surface.

• We include 54 pieces (not 52) includes two extras in case some are damaged during installation process.

Ivocor can be ordered in two shape configurations:

1. Rectangular set 6.25” x 1.0” or about 159mm x 25mm. All 54 pieces are identical with no sharp notches cut. You’ll need to install with your choice of glue, and do all the trimming, shaping and rounding (yes a lot more work than shaped! see below). If you have installed other mineral plastics, the installation is the same. Fronts not included.

2. Shaped to fit all 88 piano notes A~G, with the three extra notes (A0, B0 and C8) ready for trimming. Two extra notes with no sharp notches provided (similar to C8). Although shaped to match each key on the piano, the keytop’s side and front corners on this set square and ready for rounding. To install, just trim octaves apart with a razor knife, glue onto the keys with your choice of glue, round sides and front edges. New acrylic fronts are included (normally installed first.

Ivocor is easily machinable and can be installed with various glues such as contact cement, PVC-E glue, contact cement, or Roo Glue.
